Our Explore Archery session is for youth looking to get a start in archery. We offer walk-in lessons only if lanes and instructors are available. All bows and arrows and targets are provided.

I provide the highest quality archery coaching and instruction to beginning intermediate advanced and elite archers including equipment selection set-up and tuning in all archery disciplines including Olympic Target Recurve Traditional Instinctive Recurve and Longbow and Compound Target Archery and use the most current modern instructional coaching and training approaches and technique including the National Training System. Equipment is provided and no experience is necessary to join. Class content includes equipment nomenclature safety rules range rules conduct and the shot sequence.

We offer group and private archery lessons throughout the week at our indoor range at 365 Georgetown Square Wood Dale IL 60191. Participants learn proper form archery rules and etiquette. These archery classes are designed for beginners.

Saturdays 430 pm please arrive by 415 This is a 1 hour long class with a group of up to 10 archers designed for beginners to learn to shoot. Our archery lessons and bow making courses include camps for kids courses for adults and family events. The class will include VERY basic archery shooting and safety see our Intro to Archery class for more cover the basics of the partsaccessories of a bow how to care for your bow how to sight inadjust your bow and will conclude with a open shooting time when staff will be available to help you one-on-one with shooting.

Kids under 10 years old cannot participate but can stay in the lounge with a supervising adult that must watch the under-age child the whole. Students learn about range safety equipment the basics of the USA Archery National Training System archery form. Our archery lessons for kids are among our most popular and are a great way to bond with your kids while teaching them a sport for a lifetime.

We provide programs for both beginners and advancing students. Beginning archery classes are intended for people 8-80 with little or no formal archery training. Students are introduced to the basics of archery and safety on the range.

Archery has been around since 5000 BC and is a fun hobby or sport for many people. 4 week and 6 week classes available. Except for Intermediate Recurve Class all other classes courses are perfectly suitable for complete beginners.

Our facilities encompass one of the largest indoor ranges in SE Portland and private outdoor ranges in Sandy OR. The Big Woods Goods Advanced Archery class requires that participants have their own equipment. We shoot Mathews Genesis compound target bows and KAP recurve target bows.

LEVEL 2 USA ARCHERY INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION CLASS The Level 2 Archery Instructor Certification Course includes the Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification Course and provides students with an introduction to the National Training System NTS Steps of Shooting for recurve and compound equipment and accessory set-up athlete development and events as well as qualifies students to teach the Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification Course. The best place to start learning how to shoot well is our Beginner Archery Class. General Archery We offer group classes year-round 6 days per week.
